Riyadh skyline, Saudi Arabia — agricultural machinery sourced from the UK and Europe Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia — UK and European agricultural machinery sourced for you

The right machinery from Europe — checked before you commit.

Sourced from our network of dealers and private owners — or bought for you at a UK auction.

Tractors, telehandlers, forage harvesters, dairy and general farm equipment — found across the UK and European market, investigated by someone on your side, with export, shipping and clearance arranged once that machine's route is confirmed.

Seller verified, evidence gathered Export and clearance arranged No purchase, no sourcing fee Brand-agnostic — every major manufacturer
Customs & export documentation — arranged, not guessed

The seller and forwarder prepare the export declaration and commercial invoice. Saudi Arabia requires a SASO conformity certificate, issued through the SABER system. The licensed Saudi broker we arrange checks the machine's current 12-digit code, confirms the certificate route, and confirms whether you also need origin evidence or a certificate of origin. No Australia- or New Zealand-style machinery scheme is confirmed for Saudi Arabia, so the broker checks each machine. Gulf law bans imported soil, so we arrange for the machine to be cleaned of soil, with photos, before it ships. Saudi Arabia's used-machinery list covers many implements and harvesters, but each machine's SABER route is still checked against its 12-digit code. The tractor route is unresolved and must be confirmed before you buy. We arrange the export pack and pass it to that broker, who files the declaration in your name and confirms the current duty rate in writing before you commit.

Buying at a UK auction

The UK has one of the deepest used-plant auction markets in the world. Machines come out of hire fleets, contractor disposals and finance recoveries, and they sell on a fixed public calendar to whoever turns up. It's an opportunity if you're standing in the room and a gamble if you're not — and from Saudi Arabia, you're not.

We tell you what's coming up

Sale dates well ahead of time, including Euro Auctions and Ritchie Bros, so you can plan around them instead of hearing about a machine after it's gone.

We send you the catalogues

Catalogues are published days or weeks before each sale. We send them over as soon as they're out, so you're looking at the same list as the buyers who'll be in the room.

We check the lot

If you want, we inspect it in person, charged at our day rate plus travel, with photographs and video. Hours, condition, and an honest read on how the machine has been treated — plus anything we could not check, such as whether it could be started. We tell you what we saw, not what we assumed.

We bid for you, up to your limit

Set in writing by you, and never exceeded.

Then we arrange the export

We arrange the declaration, seller invoice, any origin document the broker needs and transport to port. It ships once the forwarder confirms the machine's route, and the licensed Saudi broker we line up clears it in your name.

You're never bidding blind

The whole point is that the lot is checked before you commit a riyal to it — in person by us if you want — and that you're told honestly what we found.

How the money works

You register your own account with the auction house, you fund it, and you pay the auction house directly. Euro Plant Finder never holds your money, never bids as principal and never owns the machine — we act as your agent, to the limit you set in writing, and invoice our fee separately.

One buyer per lot

We'll only ever represent one buyer on any given lot. We can't advise two customers on the same machine while holding both their maximum bids, so if a lot is already spoken for we'll tell you it's taken — and nothing else about it.

Send us a lot number, or just tell us what you're hunting for and we'll watch the sales for you. Start an enquiry →

The process

From your brief to your farm — managed start to finish.

You tell us what you need. We do the searching, the checking and the negotiating, and arrange everything else.

01

Your brief

Tell us the machine — make, spec, year range, hours, attachments and budget. Or just describe what you need it to do on the farm.

02

We search the UK & Europe

Dealer networks, auctions, private sellers. We find the right candidates and shortlist honestly — not just the easiest options.

03

Machine checks and inspection

We run comprehensive seller checks, including trading history, company registration, VAT, EORI customs number and bank details. Every machine is checked before you commit: full photos and video as standard, and our in-person inspection, charged at our day rate plus travel, if you want it.

04

Negotiation & purchase

We negotiate the price on your behalf, and our negotiation can often save more than our fee. The seller invoices you and you pay the seller directly. The seller usually provides the purchase contract, and we check it before you sign.

05

Export & customs documentation

We arrange the seller invoice, export declaration and any origin document the Saudi broker needs. Shipping is booked only once the machine's route is confirmed, and the licensed broker we line up clears it in your name.

06

Delivered to Saudi Arabia

We track each step to delivery, and one person stays responsible from start to finish: if the broker, forwarder or approved inspector we arrange lets you down, we make sure it's put right.

The real risk

"If it turns up worn out or misrepresented, I lose productive days on the farm — and that costs me far more than the machine."

From Saudi Arabia, you cannot fly over every time you see a machine. You're relying on photos, seller descriptions, and hope. We take the guesswork out by checking the seller and the machine before you commit.

Machine checks and inspection

We record the hours shown, review the service records available and inspect condition and wear, and we tell you plainly anything we couldn't verify.

Seller verified before you commit

We assess who you're buying from — not just the machine. The biggest risk with an overseas purchase is the seller. We deal with that before any money moves. Our checks include the seller's trading history, company registration, VAT and bank details.

Customs and documentation — arranged, not guessed

We line up the export documents, including any origin evidence, with the licensed Saudi customs broker we arrange. That agent runs the conformity and clearance checks for your machine, in your name.

Export and shipping — one managed chain

Collection, transport to port, export declarations, ocean freight, bill of lading and customs clearance through a licensed broker in your country — all arranged. Already have a customs broker? We work with them. Either way, you never have to chase a haulier or broker yourself.

What we source

Agricultural machinery — across every category.

Brand-agnostic sourcing across the full UK and European market. If it works on a farm or dairy operation, we can search for it and check it; shipping depends on its size, the carrier and Saudi conformity.

Why Euro Plant Finder

On the buyer's side — never the seller you're buying from.

No inventory to clear. No seller commission. We may know and work with the seller, but the seller does not pay us. Our commercial relationship is with you.

Container consolidation — multiple machines in one shipment
Container consolidation

Need multiple machines? We can fill a container.

We can source several machines from different sellers across the UK and Europe, consolidate them at a UK or European port, and ship in one container — cutting your per-machine shipping cost, whether it's heading straight to your farm or forming part of a larger fleet order for a bigger operation.

Buyer-side

We represent you — not the seller you're buying from. No inventory, no bias, no incentive to push a particular brand or machine.

In-person inspection

Every machine is checked before you commit: full photos and video as standard, and our in-person inspection, charged at our day rate plus travel, if you want it. Not bought blind off a listing.

No sourcing fee

Unless we complete your deal. Inspection costs quoted upfront, agreed before we travel.

Why source from the UK & Europe?

Better spec, lower price — if you know where to look.

The UK and European used-agricultural-machinery market is one of the deepest in the world — particularly for well-maintained European-spec machinery that isn't available at home at the same price point.

Stock depth

Hundreds of UK and European dealers, auctions and private sellers — far more choice than the Saudi domestic market for most agricultural machinery categories.

Pricing

For the right machine, the UK and European price — including shipping and our fee — can still come in below what you'd pay at home. Especially for tractors, telehandlers and specialist implements.

Spec

European-farmed machines — John Deere, Fendt, Claas, New Holland, Case IH — are often well-serviced and come with full dealer records. Condition varies, which is why every machine is checked before you commit.

Models & configurations

Some spec levels and configurations aren't available domestically. If there's something specific you're after, the UK and European market is often where it exists.

Saudi Arabia — common questions

What Saudi buyers ask before they enquire.

The questions that matter — answered honestly before you pick up the phone.

How long does shipping take from the UK and Europe to Saudi Arabia?

If your machine, once measured, fits a standard container and the carrier accepts it, plan on roughly 8–12 weeks door to door; release at Jeddah, the Saudi certificates and current regional routing can add time. A machine that doesn't fit needs its route agreed in writing before anyone gives a timeline.

What customs and export documentation is needed to import agricultural machinery into Saudi Arabia?

The seller and forwarder prepare the export declaration and commercial invoice. Saudi Arabia requires a SASO conformity certificate, issued through the SABER system. The licensed Saudi broker we arrange checks the machine's current 12-digit code, confirms the certificate route, and confirms whether you also need origin evidence or a certificate of origin. No Australia- or New Zealand-style machinery scheme is confirmed for Saudi Arabia, so the broker checks each machine. Gulf law bans imported soil, so we arrange for the machine to be cleaned of soil, with photos, before it ships. We arrange the export pack and pass it to that broker, who files the declaration in your name and confirms the current duty rate in writing before you commit.

How do I pay the seller safely, and is there currency risk?

You pay the seller directly — no money passes through Euro Plant Finder. Before you pay, we run comprehensive seller checks, including trading history, company registration, VAT, EORI customs number and bank details, and every machine is checked: full photos and video as standard, and our in-person inspection, charged at our day rate plus travel, if you want it. The seller usually provides the purchase contract, and we check it before you sign. You'll normally pay the seller in pounds or euros, so the rate against the riyal can move before you pay. Agree the conversion and payment timing before the price is fixed.

Are you brand-agnostic — or do you push certain manufacturers?

Completely brand-agnostic. John Deere, Case IH, New Holland, Fendt, Claas, Deutz-Fahr — we source whatever fits your operation and budget best. We have no supply agreements or commercial relationships with any manufacturer or dealer network. Our fee is paid by you when we complete your deal, so the only incentive we have is finding you the right machine.

What does the service cost for a Saudi buyer?

The buying agent fee is success-only — nothing to pay if we don't complete your deal. Inspection travel costs are quoted and agreed upfront before we travel. You pay the seller directly; freight, shipping insurance and Saudi import costs are also quoted before you commit.

Can you source multiple machines for a larger operation?

Yes. Multiple machines can be sourced from different UK and European sellers, consolidated at one port, and shipped in one container or as a multi-machine shipment — reducing the per-machine shipping cost. That works well for larger farming and dairy operations building out a fleet, not just single-machine replacement.

What if the machine arrives in worse condition than described?

We check the seller and every machine before you commit (full photos and video as standard, and our in-person inspection, charged at our day rate plus travel, if you want it) — specifically to prevent this. We record the hours shown, review the service records available and inspect condition and wear, and we tell you plainly anything we couldn't verify. If we find a problem, you know before you buy, not after it arrives. In the rare event something is genuinely not as agreed, we don't walk away — we stay involved and pursue it with the seller on your behalf, doing everything within our power to represent your best interests.

Can you bid at a UK auction on my behalf?

Yes. You register your own account with the auction house and fund it yourself — we never hold your money or bid in our own name. You give us your maximum in writing, we check the lot beforehand (in person if you want, charged at our day rate plus travel) and report honestly on its condition, and we bid to your limit and never above it. If you win, you pay the auction house directly and we invoice our fee separately.
